Even more restaurant concepts have been officially announced for The Wharf. Eric and Ian Hilton (Chez Billy Sud, The Gibson) will open a pub called The Brighton. The team behind Cleveland Park Indian restaurant Indique, including K.N. Vinod and Surfy Rahman, will do a new Indian restaurant there. And Cantina Marina’s owners will open a smaller-format venue with live music and drinks called Pearl Street Warehouse.

This joins such previously-announced ventures as Nick Stefanelli’s multi-level Italian food hall, and Cathal Armstrong’s Asian restaurant Kaliwa, plus projects from Todd Thrasher, Jamie Leeds, the Trabocchis, and more.

Fried chicken for days

Fans of the late-night fried chicken special at Mandu, take note. They’ll now offer the chicken and beer combo seven days a week at the bar from 9-11 p.m. Find it at the 18th Street location.

Good deeds

A bartender at Evening Star Cafe, James Morrison, is battling cancer. The Alexandria restaurant and bar will hold a fundraiser Monday to help him; details here.
