Dupont Circle will need to find a new source for smoothies. Signage indicates the Smoothie King at 1621 Connecticut Ave. NW is closing down tomorrow. Borderstan reports that an employee blames high rent for the shutter. [BS]

A man was stabbed outside Jumbo Pizza on U Street yesterday morning. A D.C. police report alleges two individuals were arguing over line-skipping at the pizza restaurant, then went outside, and one person was stabbed. The stabbing victim punched the assailant, knocking him unconscious, and a friend of his kicked the assailant, according to the police report. [BS]
