Bye Bye Bowls

No more salad blasters at Sweetgreen; the local chain has stopped using reusable salad bowls, which have been a part of the restaurant's schtick for nearly a decade. Previously, customers could purchase the reusable plastic salad bowl for $6 and receive a free salad topping for bringing the thing back — now, "salad blaster" owners can bring their bowls into the restaurant to be recycled and get a free salad for their troubles. Youngsters Consume Gratis

WaPo's got a legit list of places in the District and nearby that feed offspring for free. They've helpfully listed it by day so, parents, your whole next week's dinner plans are now set, basically. [WaPo]

Supper Club Alert

The Folks behind Dacha Beer Garden are about to give supper clubs a try. Starting next week, the space above Dacha Market will soon host ticketed dinners — $150 including all the extras — serving globally inspired cuisine. [WCP]
