Two of D.C.'s restaurants were graced with big-name eaters last night. Here's the scoop.

Since her parents are well-documented foodies, it shouldn't come as a surprise that First Daughter Malia Obama is apparently following in their footsteps. The eldest Obama daughter dined out last night at Bantam King — the newest joint from the team behind Daikaya — which specializes in chicken ramen. Malia was dining with two friends around 8pm. She reportedly ate the restaurant's Shio Paitan ramen, while sharing an order of gyoza with her pals.

Meanwhile, Kanye West brought his Saint Pablo Tour 2016 to the Verizon Center last night. He hired a familiar local name to cater his backstage.

NuVegan began its restaurant life as Everlasting Life Café in 2009 — switching over to Woodlands Vegan Bistro in 2013 and eventually landing at NuVegan in 2015. The restaurant opened its second location, in College Park, also in 2015.
