Fans of futuristic fast-casual dining will have a second, more spacious Eatsa to poke around as of this morning.

The fully automated shop occupies two floors at 1701 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, an innovative design that sets the latest outpost apart from preexisting locations.

“This space provides us the opportunity to essentially create a second dining room,” Eatsa co-founder Scott Drummond said of a mezzanine that boasts seating for 16. “It’ll be interesting to see how customers use that space.”

The remaining 1,600 square feet should look familiar to those who’ve keyed in orders at kiosks posted around 1627 K St. NW. The same stand-up counter space dominates the ground floor at the sibling establishment.

Per Drummond, the new location features the same plant-based menu as other stores (a seasonal update is scheduled for the spring) and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday.
