Warren Rojas IN as Editor of Eater DC

Meet the site’s new leader

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Eater is pleased to announce that Warren Rojas is the new editor of Eater D.C.

Rojas is a native Washingtonian with an extensive resume, having covered D.C. restaurants and Washington news for years. He was the founding food critic and dining editor at Northern Virginia Magazine, and has written about restaurants for The Washington Post, Washington City Paper, Eater D.C., Roll Call and Arlington Magazine. Check out some of his recent writings for Eater, chronicling everything from the scene at The Trump Hotel on election night to the history of dining institution Blue & White Carry Out.

Rojas will work alongside associate editor Tierney Plumb to comprehensively cover the area’s major restaurant news developments, and highlight its standout dining destinations. Reach out to him with tips and story ideas here, and don't forget to follow him on Twitter.

Rojas replaces Missy Frederick, who served as editor of Eater DC for more than four years. She has been promoted to the position of associate cities editor for Eater, overseeing editors in 13 cities.
