Arlington’s Crystal City Metro station is getting a lot cooler next week, thanks to the addition of a new outdoor dining hub dubbed The Stand.

The smorgasbord of offerings cater to a variety of tastes: There’s coffee (La Columbe), sweets (Cookie Dough & Co.; B Doughnut), and savory eats (Capital Chicken & Waffle), among others.

Those drinks and eats are on the lineup for its first week of service, slated to kick off Wednesday, November 1. The Stand, from the folks at Common Ground, will sit at 1601 Crystal Drive (right outside the Metro at Crystal City Water Park).

According to The Stand’s promotional page, Petworth’s Timber Pizza Company and Baltimore’s Pinch Chinese dumplings are also signed up to eventually start serving at the fledgling food fest.

Stay tuned for details on hours and design from the brand, which touts a simple hut-style logo.
