Former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary October 3 at Fiola in Penn Quarter.

The former first couple dined at restaurateur Fabio Trabocchi’s flagship restaurant back in 2013 as well, and have visited Fiola Mare on the Georgetown waterfront.

Weeks after health officials warned local bars about allowing animals on premise (or risk incurring stiff fines), the city council has weighed in with the Dining With Dogs Emergency Act of 2017.
