Fans of Bravo’s Real Housewives series can join in on the carefully choreographed drama Friday, October 6, during a special taping at boozy Bethesda diner, Community.
Subscribers to the homegrown eatery’s newsletter got the heads up Thursday that cameras will be rolling inside tomorrow from approximately 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
“Want to come check it out and maybe be a part of the action? Join us anytime from 8-2 tomorrow!!! As added incentive, show your Founders Club Card and receive 10% off your breakfast/lunch check,” the email blast reads.
The message does not specify, however, whether the television magic captured during the roughly six-hour visit will be folded into a future installment of the Real Housewives of Potomac franchise — which includes restaurateur Ashley Darby, co-founder of Australian-themed Arlington restaurant, Oz — if this latest swing through the District means execs might still revive the short-lived Real Housewives of D.C., or if an entirely new spin-off is in the works.
Cable shows seem to be very interested in what Community founder and seasoned restaurateur Mark Bucher is up to these days. MTV productions shot a cocktail segment there in late February.
