Milk Bar Is Multiplying in D.C.

Two new outposts are set to open by the end of this year

Looks like D.C. is a huge part of Milk Bar CEO Christina Tosi’s plan for world domination. The creator of crack pie and cereal milk is opening two more Milk Bar locations in Washington to join its CityCenterDC shop, reports the Washington Post.

The new outposts are slated to open before the end of this year and include a location at The Wharf, the new Southwest waterfront development, and another larger Milk Bar opening in Logan Circle. The tricked-out Logan Circle Milk Bar will include a classroom for weekly baking classes. Between this and the opening of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Logan Circle is proving to be quite the draw for upscale dessert chains.

Even though the wait is on for The Wharf location, fans will get a taste of compost cookies there this week. Tosi is planning on hosting a Milk Bar bake sale Oct. 12 through 15 at the new development, the Washington Business Journal reports.
