Former food truck Seoul Food DC is trading the cozy home it’s carved out for itself inside a gas station in Wheaton, Maryland, for a standalone eatery in neighboring Takoma Park. The new restaurant (7302 Carroll Avenue), which will continue to focus on Korean food/vegan cuisine, is expected to feature expanded seating along with new drink offerings (think: beer and wine) when it debuts in early 2018.
Decade-old Italian restaurant Amici Miei is moving from Potomac, Maryland, to a more compact space in Rockville — the new spot is roughly 40 percent smaller — due to a pending rent hike.
