There’s no lack of options for celebrating New Year’s Eve in D.C. This year’s festivities include black tie galas, elaborate raw bars, breweries pouring endless drafts or top shelf cocktails, and lots more. (Stay for a guide to special NYE dinners.)
Here are some of the best bets for spending the evening with some good (and often unlimited) food and drink specials, as well as like-minded revelers. Fair warning: most of these events have limited tickets, so be sure to plan well in advance.

801 Florida Avenue NW
Anxo Cidery & Pintxos Bar
300 Florida Avenue NW
Throw down $50 (plus tax and tip) and head upstairs at the original Anxo, where cider and other unlimited drinks will flow well after the ball drops. Food is not included, but the restaurant will be open earlier in the evening. Purchase tickets online.
613 Pennsylvania Avenue SE
This Capitol Hill watering hole is hosting a year-end speakeasy named Blind Pig. The kitchen is preparing an all-you-can-eat pig roast, which can be paired with bottomless cocktails like Old Fashioneds, Negronis, Manhattans, and more. Entry is $120 (and a super-secret password, of course).
300 Tingey Street SE
Craft beer aficionados will have a hard time finding something to beat Bluejacket’s celebration. The Navy Yard brewery is offering unlimited sips of all draft beers and casks, plus other drinks. Expect some rarities too, along with some passed food and music. Admission starts at $125 (plus fees).
1906 14th Street NW
Chef Ryan Ratino is transforming Bresca into a formal bash to close out 2017. Dress to the nines and take in the modern restaurant’s “Dash of Seduction” event with unlimited Piper-Heidsieck Champagne and cocktails, passed bites, plus food stations including a raw bar. Tickets are $170 a person (plus tax and gratuity) and can be made on Resy or by email.

709 D Street NW
438 Massachusetts Avenue NW
Keep things casual by ringing in 2018 at Sixth Engine, where chef Kyle Bailey will prepare a spread of hors d’ouevres and gourmet snacks inspired by the restaurant’s American menu. There’s a premium open bar, and a DJ will be on hand until 2 a.m. Tickets are $100 ($80 before December 12).
Tilt Side Bar
1612 14th Street NW
Tilt is hosting a black tie affair for just 75 people. The evening will feature a welcome cocktail, bites, raw bar (including oysters), and Champagne at midnight. Other cocktails will be available for a special price. Admission is $150 (includes tax and tip) and tickets can also be redeemed for bottomless mimosas for New Year’s Day brunch at downstairs sibling establishment, Pearl Dive Oyster Palace.
Timber Pizza Company
809 Upshur Street NW
A pizza party is always a good idea — even more so when it involves some of the best slices in the city. Timber is firing up the ovens on New Year’s Eve for a “Crazy Fun Bash” with unlimited drinks, dinner, dancing, and dessert for $100 a person.
