Homegrown fast-casual pizza empire &pizza just opened a shop in Adams Morgan last week (aka Jumbo Slice territory), and now they’re already on to the next. The Ballston outpost of &pizza is now officially open at 3924 Wilson Boulevard, and the pizza chain is celebrating with two deals. The first 126 people in line for today’s grand opening will get free pizza.
For the seriously committed &pizza fan, there’s always a logo tattoo. The first 26 folks to request an ampersand tattoo will get free ink and the promise of &pizza for a year.

Ballston’s food options continue to evolve: a shawarma spot is moving in soon and a sprawling food hall will open in 2018 with restaurants like Timber Pizza Co. and Ice Cream Jubilee signing on to the project. But on the downside, classic Ballston drinking spot Front Page is closing on Dec. 31.
