DOWNTOWN—Roadside fixture Wawa has set an opening date for its highly anticipated first District outpost (1111 19th Street NW): 8 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, per a response on social media to a customer. That puts the efficient convenience giant’s opening a day ahead of schedule.

DOWNTOWN—Now through Saturday, December 30, Mexican-themed Mxdc is serving 25 new imported tequilas this holiday season. Bartender Anthony Tavara’s list includes blancos, reposados, añejos, and extra añejos, as well as custom margaritas and palomas. KENSINGTON—Drink for a cause: $1 of every spiked eggnog sold at Dish & Dram will help hurricane victims. Dubbed Coquito for Puerto Rico, the charity-themed cocktail ($10) is scheduled to be served through January 6.
