Per DC Beer, this marks the official debut of Transmitter here in the District. The microbrewery focuses on Belgian-style farmhouse ales and signature sours.

The beers expected to be available for sampling March 15 include: Abbey Ale Dubble, Buckwheat Biere de Garde, F1 Brett Golden Ale, F3 Brett Farmhouse Ale, F6 Farmhouse, G1 Belgian Blond Ale, G4 Sour Golden Ale, PH4 Sour Red Ale, S4 Classic Saison, SY1 Saison, and W3 Hibiscus Orange Imperial Wit.

There is no admission fee to participate in the event, but the 4-ounce tasting pours will be priced for individual sale. The Transmitter tasting is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and continues into the evening.
