A variety of local restaurants are lending their support to Best Buddies, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing awareness about individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, by featuring special combos from March 19 through March 31. The “Bring Your Best Buddy” offerings include two drinks and an appetizer at Occidental, select desserts at Bastille, happy hour pairings at Oyamel, Jaleo and China Chilcano, barbecue specials at Rocklands, and the “How Jefferson Would Have Liked It’ cocktail at Farmers and Distillers. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each benefits Best Buddies Prom, which is scheduled to take place at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center on April 28.
