The Halal Guys Fan Out Across the DMV, and More Construction Updates

1) ROCKVILLE: The Halal Guys plan to open a new spot in the Wintergreen Plaza shopping center in late summer or early fall. Meanwhile, a Dupont Circle location is nearing its debut. [PLYWOOD]

2) CHINATOWN: The Hilton Bros.’ Crimson Diner + Whiskey Bar inside the Pod Hotel will debut the downstairs whiskey bar portion in June, which can fit up to 500. The Diner will be up first, debuting in early May with a coffee bar attached. Details on the rooftop deck portion are TBA. [PLYWOOD]

3) BETHESDA: True Food Kitchen will unveil its new 6,400-square-foot restaurant in late spring. Located on the ground level of the Solaire Bethesda luxury apartments on 7100 Wisconsin Avenue, the West Coast health-conscious chain is prepping for a debut on June 14.

4) H STREET: An Ethiopian fusion restaurant called Quara is coming to 818 H Street NE, or so reads a liquor license placard. The 52-seat spot will sit next to a future Halal Guys location.
