CLARENDON—Saturdays and Sundays are party days at Oz. Not only is bottomless (or a la carte) brunch now starting at 10 am, but from 3pm on (for the rest of the summer), eager drinkers can grab a bucket of five beers for $22 (domestic beers) or $25 (Australian beers.)
GEORGETOWN—Via Umbria has had some menu switcheroos since Liam LaCivita took over the reigns. He introduced donuts and breakfast sandwiches; now the spot is introducing a happy hour menu called “Spritz O’Clock.” It’s available 5-7pm and has snacks like a burger or a charcuterie board.
BARRACKS ROW—Pineapple and Pearl’s patio is something of a secret hidden in plain sight, discovers Jessica Sidman over at Washingtonian. The menu is a la carte, al fresco, and much (much) cheaper than the restaurant’s typical $280 tasting menu. [Washingtonian]
