DUPONT CIRCLE—Station Kitchen and Cocktails at The Embassy Row Hotel has lots of changes to report: a lineup of new menu items, rotating international fare from the nearby embassies, and a “special underground” cocktail menu, according to a release.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS—Watch out for Marriott International’s #FloatsforKids Truck all week long, making daily stops across town to serve up free root beer floats. A $1 minimum donation goes to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. Wednesday, August 9, the truck is expected in downtown Bethesda; Thursday, August 10 it’s scheduled to visit the JW Marriott.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS—Washingtonian has the scoop on former Etto head chef Cagla Onal’s new business, Green Almond Pantry. Her Mediterranean-style dishes are now available at farmers markets across town.
