The Washington Post reports that Red Apron Butcher’s dedicated burger stand is closing in Dupont Circle on Sunday, September 3, and relocating across town to become part of sibling establishment Eatbar. The short-lived eatery, which is projected to resurface along Barracks Row on Tuesday, September 5, is expected to focus on District-only deliveries but will also be available for dine-in at its new home. Homegrown coffee chain Peregrine Espresso is celebrating its ninth anniversary on September 5 by giving away regular and iced coffee at all of its area locations.

PoPville reports that the new Ethiopian restaurant Adams Morgan standby Quara has been working on for months is now open at 818 H Street NE. Expect raw kitfo, zesty lamb tibs, and injera. [PoPville]

Over in Brookland, Washingtonian reports that the Little Red Fox crew is poised to open its new vegetarian taco and coffee shop, Fox Loves Taco, on Saturday, September 9.
