The Washington Post reports that Red Apron Butcher’s dedicated burger stand is closing in Dupont Circle on Sunday, September 3, and relocating across town to become part of sibling establishment Eatbar. The short-lived eatery, which is projected to resurface along Barracks Row on Tuesday, September 5, is expected to focus on District-only deliveries but will also be available for dine-in at its new home. Over in Brookland, Washingtonian reports that the Little Red Fox crew is poised to open its new vegetarian taco and coffee shop, Fox Loves Taco, on Saturday, September 9. Expect a handful of egg-filled offerings, along with the cauliflower creation co-founder Matt Carr told Eater about a few months back. [Washingtonian]
