With the Washington Nationals once again advancing into postseason play, Nationals Park is upping its concessions game this October by introducing some gut-busting specials.
Starting Friday, October 6, with Game 1 of the National League Division Series, devour a new maple doughnut croque-monsieur (served in Section 114) featuring Virginia country ham, Gruyere cheese, and maple-béchamel wrapped in a griddled glazed doughnut.
The Natitude is another way to blow diets. It features a half-smoke sausage patty, crab mac and cheese, and crispy Virginia ham on a brioche bun (Sections 110, 129, 141 and 211). A regionally inspired crab pretzel features jumbo lump crab topped with cheddar cheese topping and Old Bay (Sections 107 and 320).
On the sweet side, a Cookie Dough Helmet summons soft serve vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and mini chocolate chips served in a souvenir Curly W helmet.
And bars will be stocked with a debut cocktail: the Cinnamon Apple Curveball, featuring Smirnoff vodka, Amaretto, and fresh apple cider.
Other new arrivals include:
- Fall Classic Grilled Cheese: featuring braised short rib, baby arugula, pickled red onions, balsamic cherry jam, and smoked Gouda on artisanal sourdough bread.
- The District Duel: a foot-long half smoke sausage with braised beef and giardiniera.
- The Half-Smoke Burger Biscuit: seared smoked burger patty, cheddar cheese, and spicy onion relish served on a buttermilk biscuit.
