Opening report

Popular Baltimore ramen shop Ejji Ramen’s expansion in Bethesda is open at Westfield Montgomery Mall’s food court. Robert Dyer snapped photos and reported that that while there wasn’t much fanfare with the opening, the special bun sold out. Plus, there’s a ramen-wrapped hot dog on the appetizer menu. Ejji Ramen at Westfield Montgomery’s official opening is October 11, per a press release.

Sexual misconduct

NBC4 reports that Real Housewives of Potomac husband and Oz restaurateur Michael Darby has been charged with one count each of second-degree assault and fourth-degree sexual contact after a cameraman alleged that Darby “grabbed and groped” his butt. Darby and his wife, cast member Ashley Darby, own the Australian restaurant Oz in Clarendon.

Pop-ups

B. Doughnut opened a pop-up in Loudoun, per Northern Virginia magazine, with its soft opening kicking off on Friday. There’s a deal here: the first 50 people in line each day from now until the grand opening on October 7 will get two free doughnuts.
