Black Friday, the annual kickoff to the holiday shopping season, isn’t just limited to retail. Restaurants are also in on the action, helping stressed buyers fuel up, catch a buzz, or do their shopping on-site with gift cards and deals on to-go food.

On Black Friday, the José Andrés eatery will open an hour early at 10 a.m. with doughnuts ($6) and boozy hot chocolate featuring Corsair Triple Smoke Whiskey ($10). Thanksgiving specials, like smoked turkey with gravy, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole, will stick on “social hour” pricing all day. On Thanksgiving Day, Andrés will be with his World Central Kitchen team to feed those affected by the devastating California wildfires.
