Little Dipper Hot Pot House announced today that its location inside the Mosaic District in Fairfax will open Monday, November 19. With a lineup of dipper combos and more than 25 additional toppings available to dunk in individual cauldrons of simmering broth, the local chain will kick off Thanksgiving week by offering D.C. customizable meals before the onslaught of leftovers.

The 65-seat location at 2985 District Avenue, Suite 185, will host a grand opening starting at 11 a.m. on its first day. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony, door prizes, and — most importantly — free hot pot for the first 100 people who show up.

Service will span across lunch, dinner, and happy hour. There’s a five-seat full bar pouring drinks until a 10 p.m. close. Images of the space shared with Eater show off a psychedelic mural depicting a cat wearing an octopus as a hat.

Eater first reported on Little Dipper’s plans to open a Fairfax location in September. The first Little Dipper from owner Melinda Zhang opened in Falls Church in 2016. The brand expanded to Maryland with a Rockville store in February 2017.

In addition to hot pot, Little Dipper offers an array of ramen and rice or noodle bowls. Check out the new location’s menu below:
