Citronelle Alum Is Now Serving Wings Fried in Waffle Batter in Columbia Heights

Washington City Paper provides a peek at the opening menu for Grady’s, the new neighborhood bar and restaurant at 2210 14th Street NW recently unveiled by restaurateur John Jarecki. Citronelle alum Michael Hartzer is currently sending out dishes ranging from green chile-cheese fries and waffle batter-dipped fried chicken wings to curry-spiked lamb and roast baby eggplant.

Expansions

Homegrown chain Buredo is now scheduled to open its newest location in the Atlas District (625 H Street NE) on Wednesday, February 28. The first 100 customers through the doors can choose from a free roll or salad. Next up: getting the NoMa shop (111 K Street NE) up and running.

Meanwhile, Washington Business Journal reports that adult arcade Dave & Buster’s is headed to Gaithersburg. Maryland (9811 Washingtonian Boulevard). The nationwide chain operates a handful of game-filled entertainment venues in Maryland and Virginia.

Local chain Dolcezza is celebrating the grand opening of its now permanent coffee shop inside the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden by giving away one free small coffee to customers who visit between 8 a.m. and noon on Friday, February 23.
