Washington City Paper reports that 2 Amys chef Peter Pastan runs daily specials — including assorted anchovy offerings — at the back wine bar he’s dubbed “Serenity Now.” The lineup includes specialty sandwiches, Neapolitan pizzas, sweets, and select chiantis.

Local chain &pizza is reopening the Dupont Circle location (1215 Connecticut Avenue NW) that’s been getting renovated for a while now at 11 a.m. The first 112 people in line on Tuesday, March 20 get free food.
Coming attractions
The Kimpton hotel in Dupont Circle (1315 16th Street NW) is working on adding a rooftop restaurant, A spokeswoman for the hotel tells Washington Business Journal that the potential eatery, which is projected to have indoor and outdoor seating that would accommodate up to 150 people combined, is still “in the exploratory stage.”
Over in Chinatown, Popville snapped a picture of signage up at the new Yard House beer bar (812 Seventh Street NW) showing that the incoming chain plans to open on Monday, April 9.
