Restaurateur Steve Salis is taking recent acquisition Ted’s Bulletin in new directions this fall, pledging to unveil an expanded version of the boozy milkshake and designer pastry-making eatery in Ballston’s restaurant-packed Quarter Market food hall this fall.
Arlnow reports that Salis Holdings, the company formed by the &pizza co-founder and investor in Adams Morgan barbecue haven Federalist Pig, is projected to unveil the “2.0 version of the beloved Ted’s Bulletin experience” as part of its retooling of the local brand. Originally started by Matchbox Food Group on Barracks Row, Ted’s has since spread to multiple locations in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
No word yet on what the “expansion of product offerings” will mean to customers who slide into a booth at the forthcoming restaurant. But Salis has previously stated that he wants to upgrade the baking operation, bolster the dinner menu, and switch things up behind the bar.
