Giada De Laurentiis’ Debut Baltimore Restaurant Is Now Taking Reservations

Fans of Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis can now make reservations for opening night at her debut East Coast restaurant, GDL Italian by Giada.

The celebrity chef, who also has a pair of restaurants in Las Vegas, is opening her new casual Italian eatery at the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore to the general public on Tuesday, May 22. Reservations for GDL — which is currently projected to operate from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and from 4 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday — are now available via Open Table. A private grand opening celebration is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 16.

De Laurentiis says her Baltimore eatery is expected to focus on local seafood, homey pastas, and imported wines. BLT Prime alum Brian Drosenos is executive chef at the restaurant.

De Laurentiis joins two other TV personalities who’ve already planted their brands inside the same casino: Hell’s Kitchen host Gordon Ramsay, and fellow Food Network personality Guy Fieri.
