Mega social media mogul Kourtney Kardashian — fresh off a wild weekend at Coachella — braved the rain in D.C. on April 24 to testify before Congress about the cosmetics industry. Her public service complete, the reality TV star made sure to hit a couple of high-profile D.C. restaurants.
First stop was across from Capitol Hill at Charlie Palmer Steak for lunch. Chef Mike Ellis tells Eater her table ordered mixed greens, gnocchi, tuna tartare, and cappelletti. The splurges kept coming that night via mini gelato cones and chocolate torta for dessert with a girlfriend at RPM Italian. Kardashian has somewhat of a connection to the restaurant; its co-owner Giuliana Ranci is a correspondent for the same E! News network that airs Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Chances are the D.C. restaurants will appear in a future episode, as E’s production team was also filming while Kardashian was in town. It’s unclear whether she hit a D.C. Soulcycle to work off all those calories, but her social media feed shows her getting some exercise outdoors on Wednesday, April 25 surrounded by the Tidal Basin’s iconic cherry blossoms.

Her celebrity sibling Khloe Kardashian recently made local headlines too, though not in an appealing light. This month TMZ posted video of Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson cheating on his then-expectant girlfriend, Khloe, last fall at Arlington, Va. hookah lounge Darna. She gave birth days after the story broke.
