Wegmans Is Unveiling Its First Burger Bar in Virginia on June 3

Grocery giant Wegmans has sprinkled stores all across Virginia. But its Chantilly location (14361 Newbrook Drive), scheduled to open Sunday, June 3, has something extra: a built-in gourmet burger stand. The Burger Bar at the Columbia, Maryland outpost features nine specialty burgers (all ½ pound servings) on its menu including a bacon cheeseburger, lamb burger, falafel burger, and black bean burger, as well as sandwiches, salads, and frozen custard. Awards season

Himitsu co-founder Kevin Tien is one of the best new chefs in America, according to Food & Wine magazine. Tien joins 10 other hospitality professionals featured in the July issue; the 11 honorees are scheduled to appear at an annual event in Aspen, Colorado this June.

Eat local

All Things Go’s annual two-day music festival, scheduled for Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7, just announced its confirmed artist and vendor lineup for this year’s fall classic. Musicians Carly Rae Jepsen, Borns, and Maggie Rogers are scheduled to perform; Timber Pizza Company, Shake Shack, Rocklands, and mobile kitchen Bun’d Up are handling the food.
