Eater is keeping an eye on the most anticipated restaurants coming to the area this summer. Here are some recent developments to watch out for.

NOMA—Fusion sushi shop Buredo is opening its first location along NoMa’s fast-casual restaurant row on Monday, June 18. The budding chain is giving away food to the first 100 customers in line at its new outpost. It recently broke into Northeast by opening a store in the Atlas District. 111 K Street NE

RESTONRenowned specialty shop Balducci’s is opening its opening its latest upscale market with a built-in cafe on Friday, June 22 in Reston Town Center. The gourmet go-to will feature freshly baked breads and pastries, gourmet salads, brick-oven pizza, and a collection of locally made beer. ROCKVILLE—Casual seafood chain chain Slapfish is now scheduled to open its first East Coast location on Friday, July 13 at Montrose Crossing. The California import, which serves fish tacos, shrimp sandwiches, and poutine-style fries smothered in clam chowder, is working to open several shops across the D.C metro area. 12055 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Md.
