Weekday lunch spot Soho Cafe & Market is planting another location on K Street NW, between 19th and 20th streets, later this year.
An employee confirmed the expansion plans to Eater. The black and white “coming soon” signage has been up for a few weeks. Details are slim for now, but the Soho staffer says the downtown location is expected to open in “a couple of months.”
The early riser plans to offer fare similar to the breakfast and lunch items served at its current location (1825 Connecticut Avenue NW). The existing menu features daily soups, salads, fresh fruit, deli sandwiches, pizzas, and more.
Downtown office workers are getting another grab-and-go option soon with the arrival of Turkish street food spot Tempo, which is planning a summer opening a few blocks away (1195 20th Street NW).
