The new rooftop wine garden at recent arrival City Winery (1350 Okie Street NE) is opening on Friday, July 13. The 10,000-square-foot space will provide ample room for drinking with a view of Ivy City, seating for 333, and additional performance space for visiting musical acts.
D.C. restaurant openings
Silver Spring restaurant Port-au-Prince is hosting a bottomless mimosa brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 15 to celebrate its grand opening. The Haitian restaurant, which serves traditional offerings ranging from butternut squash stew to stir-fried cod, is the culmination of the pop-up dinners founder Roberto Massillon has been organizing over the past year.
