ThinkFoodGroup, the HQ of all things José Andrés, has just added another entity to its vast portfolio. The D.C.-based restaurant group is taking over the ownership rights of “The Bazaar by José Andrés,” reports Washington Business Journal. ThinkFoodGroup currently owns and operates over a dozen restaurants.

The Bazaar by José Andrés boasts a Spanish vibe and opened in 2008 in California, situated in the SLS Beverly Hills; its three other locations are in SLS hotels in Las Vegas and Miami (where there are two.) Dishes like a “Jose Taco” which has Iberico ham and caviar; the South Beach location’s onion soup features a foie gras “cappuccino.”

Andrés said in a statement to Washington Business Journal that he considers The Bazaar one of his “most exciting and rewarding creations as a chef.” The ThinkFoodGroup purchase of the brand means Andrés can now assume “full control” of The Bazaar and “explore all its possibilities.” The Bazaar might be popping up as a standalone restaurant — or in a different hotel.
