Orange-ish chicken is coming to Dupont Circle. The Washington Business Journal reports that a new location of the Rammy and Eater Award-winning Korean and Chinese fast-casual restaurant Chiko is in the works for P Street NW. The restaurant beloved for its counter tasting menu is from owners Danny Lee, Scott Drewno, and Drew Kim, and originally opened in Barracks Row last July.
The Dupont Circle location of Chiko isn’t the only new outpost in the works. The restaurant is going West with the opening of a Chiko in San Diego this summer (Kim, who primarily lives on the West Coast, is going to take over the day-to-day operations of the California location).
“A lot of people like to expand as soon as they can. We’re going to be very careful,” Lee told Eater back in March.
