Midwest chain Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is moving into a new DMV neighborhood. After planting locations in Reston, Ashburn, and Annapolis, the Washington Business Journal reports that the wine-centric restaurant and bar is moving into Rockville’s Research Row development.
Cooper’s Hawk winery in Rockville will be a sprawling 12,392 square feet. If it’s anything like the outpost in Reston, the Rockville location will include different components under one roof — like a tasting room, restaurant, and retail market. The chain serves its own wines and menu items like gnocchi Bolognese with braised short ribs and Nashville-style hot chicken accompanied by mac and cheese. The company is currently hiring for Rockville right now with online job ads.
