Top Chef alum Spike Mendelsohn’s restaurant inside mega sports and wellness complex The St. James won’t open along with the rest of the complex on Saturday, reports the Washington Business Journal. The restaurant (dubbed Vim and Victor) is slated to open in four to six weeks, but in the meantime, find Mendelsohn’s food and beverage offerings within a temporary space in The St. James.

Cafeteria-style restaurant The Great Eatery closed at the food court at 1000 Wilson Blvd. after 30 years, ARLnow reports.

PoPville spots signage for Scotts Restaurant & Bar in the former Co Co Sala location in Penn Quarter. The restaurant is from British hospitality vet Simon Lowe, and will include a Cask Club (a separate 850-square-foot venture available to those who pay the $495 annual fee).
