The mixologists at Bourbon Steak are immortalizing Nationals star Max Scherzer’s black eye with a cocktail. It’s called “Black Eyed Scherzer,” and it’s a riff on the Black-Eyed Susan cocktail, mixed up with District Made Rye, Brugal 1888 Rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, cane syrup, angostura bitters, and averna float. A single cherry mimics the black eye.
