D.C. may have a (rather warranted) reputation for being buttoned up, but there are certain places that let everyone loosen up. Take karaoke bars, for instance.
These bars and spots with private crooning rooms offer a change of pace from the usual Friday and Saturday night bar hopping. As an added bonus, these places are full of beer, cocktails, and food ranging from sushi to Texas barbecue. New to the list includes spots like Navy Yard’s hip Japanese/Hawaiian eatery Hatoba, which just launched a new Friday night karaoke party. Another sing-a-long destination will be here this fall at the Wharf, where Live K Karaoke Bar will offer private room and main room karaoke.
