Just like restaurants in the District, some Northern Virginia chefs are turning to carryout and delivery while dining rooms are shut down to help halt the spread of COVID-19. Virginia imposed a dine-in ban Monday, which was a week behind D.C. and Maryland and not soon enough for several chefs. Many restaurants are advocating for full-scale closures, arguing that even legal takeout and delivery operations are putting workers at risk and threatening to extend the public health crisis.

People quarantining at home are still patronizing restaurants, so here are a handful of select picks for Arlington residents.
