Whether planning a trip or just interested in the cuisine, D.C. offers multiple options to taste Cuba.

Next month, Bastille in Old Town Alexandria will also offer a one-time-only Cuban brunch on Sunday, September 6 from 11:30am – 2:30pm. Featured dishes like Bistec con Cebollas (marinated steak with onion) topped with a fried egg and side of yucca fries, or Cuban flan and cafe con leche for dessert, will bring Cuban flair to a weekend afternoon.

Can’t wait to travel there? Chef Pernot of Cuba Lubre makes the trip easier by leading a culinary tour both in October 2015 and March 2016, with hopefully more trips to come. Visit the Havana Culinary School, the Havana Club Rum Museum and much more, including private dinners with Cuban chefs. Find more tour information here.
