Preparing a Christmas feast worthy of guests doesn't always sound appealing, especially after staying up late wrapping presents or drinking eggnog. Luckily, more and more restaurants are opening their doors so revelers can eat, drink, and be merry without worrying about the mess in the kitchen.

Here are some of the D.C. area establishments offering breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner on Christmas day. This map offers a mix of menu items, price ranges and neighborhoods. But, make a decision quickly, as reservations are filling up every second.

America Eats Tavern

This homestyle spot is offering a brunch buffet that will include suckling pig jambalaya, cranberry glazed Brussels sprouts, shrimp and grits, and assorted holiday cookies inspired by family recipes. The buffet lasts from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. It's $65 per adult and $25 per child.

Blue Duck Tavern

Blue Duck Tavern’s three-course feast will be offered from 11:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.. Highlights include apple cider-glazed ham with maple bourbon jus and wood oven-roasted duck breast with spiced farm honey. The meal is priced at $110 per adult and $55 per child aged six to 12. For diners wanting that traditional steakhouse experience, Mastro’s is open from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will have live music. The regular menu of steaks, lobster-mashed potatoes, and butter cake will be available.

Muze’s dinner is a family-style affair, priced at $65 per adult and $35 per child. The menu includes roast rib eye, cauliflower gratin, roasted root vegetables, Yule log cake, and Christmas cookies. It’s available from noon to 7 pm.

Old Angler's Inn

Old Angler’s Inn is a bit of a drive, but they’ll offer a three-course meal in their cozy dining room from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For $75, diners can choose from items like pea soup, a roasted pear salad, a rack of lamb, caramelized scallops, crème brûlée, or a Christmas log.

Rosa Mexicano

Rosa Mexicano is wishing their diners a Feliz Navidad and offering a holiday menu, available a la carte or as a prix fixe two-course dinner with a holiday cocktail for $35.
