Finding open parking spaces in D.C. can feel like a futile task. Any available spots often require coughing up cash for expensive garages or fumbling for spare change to feed a meter. To make matters worse, the city recently announced a pilot program to surge parking prices in some of the most in-demand neighborhoods this coming spring.
Thankfully, even in the busy city, some restaurants have made a point to offer free parking for customers. It's a nice touch in a busy city and certainly makes dinner outings more enjoyable for those going the vehicle route.
Here are several area restaurants that offer free parking options for their customers, either in dedicated lots or through validation. Finding a spot in a lot might still be a matter of luck during peak hours, but it's still better than circling around the block in search of a space on the street.
