For the 9-to-5 office crowd, happy hours begin as soon as the clock strikes beer o'clock and extend way more than an hour. But what about the guys behind the bar serving half-priced beers and $4 cocktails? They deserve a few hours of happiness as well.

Fortunately, there are bars where happy hour doesn't end at 7 p.m. Cubicle dwellers, K Street lobbyists, restaurant industry mavericks and the rest of the night owl crowd can enjoy alcoholic deals at these late night happy hours.

Some newcomers in town are realizing it's a big money maker, with The Royal, Fare Well, and Alta Strada are all on board the late night happy hour train. And longtime D.C. staples like Clyde's and the Daily Grill are loyal veterans in the game when it comes to after hours eats and drinks.

Here are Eater's picks for late night happy hour menus.
