Here's an amusing trend that's emerged during all the shutdown craziness. Some restaurants are offering deals to furloughed government workers (or even just to frustrated customers outside of the public sphere). But others are taking things a step further and denying those deals to Congress — or even suggesting that lawmakers who patronize their places will be charged extra for their antics. Are such policies legally enforceable? Probably not, but they're still funny. Here's a map on places Congress members should probably avoid right now — Eater will add to it if any other restaurants get in on the rage. And don't worry, John Boehner or Harry Reid. At least you have Carmine's offering to give you a free private room rental to work out your differences.
