There’s more to the Largo dining scene than tailgating in the parking lot at Fed Ex Field. The surrounding community — which includes Upper Marlboro, Mitchellville, and Capital Heights — is home to restaurants specializing in a variety of distinctive cuisines, ranging from Southern standards (think: fried green tomatoes, banana pudding) to Caribbean favorites (jerk chicken, curry goat).

While there are plenty of corporate entities scattered about, many smaller, family-owned and homegrown eateries add local flavor to the area.
