Eating before the big Baltimore Ravens game means beer and hot dogs in the parking lot for some. But for sports lovers who want to make an outing out of the experience, the neighborhoods surrounding M&T Bank Stadium offer plenty of dining options.

The choices got better in the past year with two celebrity chef restaurants. Fine dining spot Gordon Ramsay Steak debuted late last year with a dark, moody interior befitting the salty chef while Food Network celeb Giada De Laurentiis opened her first East Coast venue in May with the trattoria-style GDL Italian by Giada. And the options may continue to proliferate as the city looks to reshape the area into an entertainment district.
