The D.C. dining world has been waiting anxiously to see what Aldea and Momofuku alumnus Aaron Silverman will delivery with Rose's Luxury, his Barrack's Row venture. Next Wednesday, they'll find out.
Eater got a look inside the restaurant, which features a spacious deck, skylights, exposed brick and clean wood walls. The restaurant has a bright, glossy bar, drop lighting and plenty of plant life adding color to the proceedings. An open kitchen with gleaming copper pans is a focal point.
Rose's Luxury will serve a mix of small plates and family style dishes. Initial menu items include a fennel-stuffed gnocchi, shrimp and grits and a popcorn soup with lobster (a riff that received early buzz during Silverman's Hogo pop-up event).
