No Government ID? No Problem at These Places

Dozens of restaurants have been offering discounts on food and drinks during the government shutdown. There's just one catch. Customers may not need proof that they're furloughed, but they do have to show a government ID to participate in many of the bargains. That said, there are a handful of bars and restaurants who are giving out deals for all, regardless of where they're working, just in spirit of the city's frustration with Congress over the shutdown. Here's where cynical doctors, journalists, secretaries and teachers can show up to drink instead.
