It's a chocolate-hazelnut spread that has been around for close to 50 years. But to lovers of Nutella, the accoutrement is so much more. The growing popularity of Nutella (with a fandom bordering on mania) means it's sold in some 75 countries, and its use has extended from kitchen pantries to restaurants' repertoires so that chefs can incorporate the sweet ingredient into gourmet contexts. Here are eateries around the D.C. area where diehard fans can score some Nutella action.
